Susan Ruth Andrews

Susan Ruth Andrews, 58 of Attica, NY. Returned to God after a short but valiant battle passed at Roswell Park Cancer Institute with her family present. She was born on June 12, 1957 in Lackawana, NY to Robert W. McKeever Sr. and predeceaced by her mother Viola D. McKeever. Sue was survived by her devoted husband Jay W. Andrews and her dear children Jay W. Andrews and Bonnie S. Vickery. Sue was a cherished sister to her brother Robert W. McKeever II, and sisters Gwynne (Mike) Tomb and Roberta (Duane) Wendover. Sue was a proud granny to her 5 adoring grandchildren Lucas, Thomas, Alyssa, Payton and Bella. She was a caring daughter-in-law to Grace M. Cycon. Sue had a large loving family with many surviving family members including her aunt, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Sue graduated from Hamburg High in 1975 and worked 28 years for the Wyoming County Sheriff’s Department, holding the position of secretary to the Sheriff. When Sue wasn't working she would most often be found enjoying the company of her dear husband of 39 years, camping and motorcycle riding. Sue was also an avid reader and was passionate about cooking, baking, knitting and spending time with her beloved grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Monday, September 14th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC 135 Main Street, Attica New York 14011. A 10:00 AM Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday September 15, 2015 at the First Baptist Church, 3 Prospect Street Attica, New York 14011. She will be laid to rest in Forest Hill Cemetery. Reception will follow at the First Baptist Church in Attica.
