Richard F. "Dick" Reding

Richard F. “Dick” Reding, 98, of Attica, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2019 in Warsaw, NY. He was born in Attica, NY on October 10, 1921 to the late Elmo S. and the late Loretta B. (Petz) Reding. Dick was preceded in death by his sons, Martin Carr and Gregory Reding; siblings, Edmond Reding, Joan Waite, Bernard Reding, and his twin brother, Father Aquanis Reding.
Dick was a meat cutter for over 30 years for local grocery stores. He loved the outdoors and loved to read. Dick’s favorite moments were spent playing cards with family and friends. He was a member of Sts Joachim & Anne RC Church.
Dick is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Jane (Hatch); daughter, Laurie Miller; daughter-in-law, Peach Carr of Tennessee; 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held from 4- 7pm on Friday, November 1, 2019 at the Marley Funeral Home, LLC, 135 Main St., Attica, NY 14011. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Sts. Joachim & Anne RC Church, 50 East Ave, Attica, NY 14011.
