Kathryn Reiter, 68, of Attica, passed away on January 12, 2019. She was born on May 29, 1950 to the late Clarence and Bertha (Pelton) Reiter.
Kathryn was a teacher for many years at St. Vincent’s School prior to her retirement and was a long time member of St. Joachim & Anne Parish in Attica. She was a substitute teacher as well for several area districts and was a member of the East Aurora & Warsaw Farmers Markets, also a member several Red Hat Society groups and was also Queen Mother of her own group, The Let’s Go Girls. Kathryn enjoyed growing and arranging flowers and loved cats. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley. Kathryn loved to travel and enjoyed visiting Lancaster, PA. She spent her winters in Myrtle Beach as a snowbird for many years.
She is survived by her siblings; Patricia Reiter of Attica, Clarence Jr. (Laurie) Reiter of Warsaw and Edward Reiter of Attica; an uncle, niece, 3 nephews and many cousins.
Family and friends are invited to call on Monday February 4, 2019 from 4:00-8:00PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street Attica, NY 14011. An 11:00AM Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday February 5th at Sts. Joachim & Anne Parish 50 East Ave. in Attica. Kathryn will be laid to rest in St. Vincent’s Cemetery.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the family for Cemetery upkeep or to Mass cards for the church.
