Jackson R. “Jake” Lounsberry, 30, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Attica, NY. He was born on February 20, 1989 in King City, California to Kenneth and the late Cherylynn (Van Nostrand) Lounsberry.
Jake was a loving and devoted son, brother, nephew, cousin, friend and neighbor. He was a talented artist and musician. He could fix anything!!He loved to walk in the woods and enjoy nature. Jake was known for his sense of humor and his fun-loving personality. Jake enjoyed skateboarding, drawing, painting, playing guitar, concerts, kayaking, bonfires with friends, and gazing up at the night stars. He touched many lives and was a caregiver to all. His legacy and kindness will live on and will forever be close to many hearts.
Jake is survived by his father, Kenneth R. Lounsberry; his brother, Clayton (Courtney) Lounsberry; sister, Tamara Klaple;grandmother, Margaret Van Nostrand; his great aunt, Kay Van Nostrand; aunts, Cheryl (Ralph) Beckley, Denise Lounsberry- Saunders; uncles, Richard Woika, Jack (Kathy) Woika, James T. Lounsberry, William G. Lounsberry, and Jeff Van Nostrand; and special cousins, Josh Woika and Madison Van Nostrand, many cousins, relatives and friends.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019 from 11-1 pm at the Marley Funeral Home, LLC, 135 Main St., Attica, NY 14011.
