George W. Orzeszek

George W. Orzeszek, 86, of Darien Center passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday April 30, 2016 at Millard Fillmore Hospital in Amherst. He was born on April 3, 1930 in Buffalo to the late Steven and Henrietta (Pieper) Orzeszek.

George served his country for both The United States Army and United States Navy. He was a member of the Depew American Legion and worked for 37 years for the United States Postal Service.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years Marilyn (Zimmerer) Orzeszek and brother Bobby Orzeszek, along with many nieces and nephews. George’s daughter, Laura L. Orzeszek also of Darien Center passed away suddenly the same day.

There were no prior calling hours. Funeral Services were held on Monday May 2, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in Attica. Interment will be held privately by the family.
