Frank Albert Meier

Frank Albert Meier Jr., 95, of Alexander, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. He was born March 2, 1926 to the late Frank A. Meier and Dora Wagner Meier. He is preceded in death by his wife, Virginia I. Meier in 2013; brothers, Allen (Bessie) Meier, Leonard Meier and Richard Meier.

Mr. Meier was a lifelong resident of Alexander and graduated from Alexander Central School in 1943. He farmed all his life with the family at Meier Brothers Farm and served on the Niagara Milk Cooperative Board of Directors. Mr. Meier was a life member of Alexander Fire Department, Alexander United Methodist Church, Alexander Happy Agers, Older Boys and Girls and the Alexander Zoning Board of Appeals.

He is survived by his children, David (Cindy) Meier of Corfu, Douglas (Cathy Bishop) Meier of Alexander, John (Cherish) Meier of Alexander, Linda (John) Hume of Batavia; grandchildren, Adam and Jacob Meier of Alexander, Lauren and Nicole Hume of Batavia; sister-in-law, Jane Meier, along with many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to call on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 2 to 3pm at Marley Funeral Home, LLC., 135 Main Street, Attica, NY 14011. A 3:00pm Funeral Service will immediately follow at the Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in Grand View Cemetery.
