Charles Rogers

Charles Rogers, 50, of Darien Center passed away on Wednesday September 25, 2019 at his home. He was born in Buffalo on December 19, 1968 to the late Glenn Rogers and Patricia (Strimple) Rogers. In addition to his father, Charles is predeceased by his brother; Darrell Rogers.

Charles was a Correctional Officer at Wyoming Correctional Facility with 25 years of service. He loved riding motorcycles, hunting, and NASCAR. He was a loving husband, son, brother and uncle who was larger than life. Charles will be remembered for his unconditional love for this family, and those who weren’t but he still treated them as family.

He is survived by his loving wife; Nancy (Moore) Rogers; siblings Terry Rogers and Michael (Mary) Rogers; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his dog, Dolly.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday September 29, 2019 from 1:00-5:00PM at Marley Funeral Home, LLC. 135 Main Street Attica, New York 14011. A 10:00AM Funeral Service will be held on Monday the 30th at the Trinity United Methodist Church 75 Main St. in Attica. Charles will be laid to rest in Summit View Cemetery in Attica.
